Attraction Water Lily. This is a 1910 M. Marliac hybrid water lily. M. Marliac is considered one of the most important hardy water lily hybridizers in history. Attraction has one of the largest blossoms of all the hardy water lilies. It is rated among the worlds greatest water lilies and received an Award of Merit by the Royal Horticulture Society. Flowers are a glowing red, petals are tipped with rose and flecked with white. Stamens are of a rich mahogany tipped yellow and sepals are white wit tracing of rose. Descriptions of the blossoms vary, especially since the flowers become deeper red in color and more striking with age. Today, there are many versions of this plant on the market, but Tricker's propagates and proudly offers the Attraction Water Lily that has, for decades, brought Tricker customers the beauty that M. Marliac would be proud of and our customers would expect to receive.

Hi! I'm your new Marimo (Japanese) Cladophora Ball, or Moss Ball (English). I am a rare algae growth that only forms in a few lakes in Iceland, Scotland, Japan and Estonia. Many cultures consider me good luck. I'm very easy to care for. Just place me in a container with tap water and change it every one or two weeks. Please rinse anything you add to my container to keep my home clean. You don't need to feed me. I don't require anything but low light and clean water to live. Please don't put me in direct sunlight. We don't get much of that on the lake floor, so I don't like it. I am most comfortable in normal to low household lighting. The gentle lake currents give me my beautiful round shape. If you gently swirl my water every once in a while that would be great! As a special treat you could even take me out and gently roll me across your palm. I sink or float depending on my mood (oxygen produced by the photosynthesis moves me up and down.) If I turn brown you can help me by replacing my water, squeezing me under running water to wash out any dirt, and adding about 5% table salt to my water. I will recover quickly. Also, a night in the fridge is like a week at the spa for me as I prefer cold water. I can live up to 200 years and grow about .5cm per year. Thanks for being so kind to me. Now I'm going to get to work being awesome!

Purple Tropical Water Lily - Water Garden Live Pond Plant
Brand: Pond Plants Discounts
Tropical Water Lilies are spectacular pond plants that can be grown outside in your water garden in all zones as long as the weather is warm enough. Tropical water lilies like the temperature to be at least 70 degrees. If you live in areas that freeze, you can winter your tropical water lilies inside and bring them out again in the spring. Tropical water lilies are very free flowering and for the most part, very fragrant. Tropical water lilies come in shades of white, yellow, pink, red, blue and purple. Tropical water lilies come in both day blooming and night blooming varieties. Depth should be maintained between 6" to 18" when first transplanted and then once established can be grown from 12" to 30" deep depending on the variety. Plant ships bareroot or potted if requested. Please note that bareroot plants go through a trimming process prior to shipment, where excessive stems are broken off prior to shipping. Planting Instructions: One must make sure the container is at least 6 inches tall. Larger varieties need to go into a 2-to-10 gallon container. The smaller water plants can be planted in as small as a 3/4-to-1-gallon container. If the container has holes at the bottom cover the holes with a couple of layers of newspaper before adding the soil. The newspaper will hold the dirt in place for about a month or two. By then the roots will hold the soil in place. Fill the container so that it will have 5 inches of soil and plant anywhere in your pond.

Hornwort is a highly recommended floating plant that can be used in outdoor gardens, water features, and ponds. Many customers also "plant" it using lead weights or anchors in their freshwater aquariums indoors. Hornwort will aid the surrounding water by increasing water quality by naturally purifying the water. Due to its floating characteristics, it is also an ideal shade spot or fish or even a refuge for small fish like fry or minnows. We also recommend pairing this with Japanese Trapdoor Snails to combat algae and keep your ponds in top shape We highly recommend that you rinse the hornwort thoroughly to remove in dead pieces, snails, or scuds that may have been missed by us. Upon arrival, your hornwort may have some browning sections but should quickly bounce back once added to your desired location at home. Caution should be taken when adding the plants to your pond if you have a strong current leading to a filter. If you do, you may need to secure the plant with lead weights or fishing line as to not let it be chopped up in pumps or filters

Red Flare. This excellent night blooming water lily was developed by the famous hybridizer Martin Randig of California in 1938. The blossoms are a deep red with foliage of a mahogany shade that stands out among the finest night bloomers. The foliage is typical of the class of night bloomers in growing very thick leaves with undulating margins. Late in the afternoon, while the typical day blooming water lilies are closing, Red Flare shows a wonderful deep coloration as dusk approaches. In moonlight, it gives off a glowing red coloration during the late night hours. In the early morning it continues to show its magnificent flowers! A must in every water garden pool
